Cultural lunch was a special event held for MM FEB UGM Jakarta students who attended General Business Environment course in Yogyakarta. During their study in Yogyakarta, they had an opportunity to have lunch with the Directors of MM FEB UGM.
Recently, 25 students of International Batch 5 Jakarta took their turn to have the cultural lunch. They were welcomed by Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin who was the Director of MM FEB UGM Jakarta and Dr. Sumiyana, M.Si., Ak., CA., the Deputy Director of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta.
Taking place on October 2, 2018, the event also let the students reveal their impression about the event and Yogyakarta campus. It was Anwar Mattawape who thanked and expressed his happiness for studying in a very different academic atmosphere in Yogyakarta.
The food and beverages were traditional ones; nasi liwet, selat solo, and meatball soup. Some of foreign students chose nasi liwet as their favorite dish since it had a unique taste. It was a signature dish from Solo which succulent rice was cooked in coconut milk.
