New Students Orientation (Offline) for MBA, IMBA 81 & SEMBA 40 Yogyakarta

Various series of orientations for new postgraduate students this time were held not only online but also offline. On Friday morning (05/08), an online Welcoming of New Students PPAk and Postgraduate Program FEB UGM for August 2022 was held, which was attended by the deans and all postgraduate students at the UGM Faculty of Economics and Business through the Zoom channel. This online orientation activity was filled with video screenings of faculty tours and introductions to faculty managers, study programs, and laboratories, as well as a welcome speech by the Dean of FEB UGM.

The event continued offline. New Student Orientation for MBA/IMBA 81 and SEMBA 40 Yogyakarta Campus was held at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, which was attended by new students from MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, the board of directors, staff, MBA SA 13.0, and students club representatives. The event began with musical performances from the Art and Entertainment Club (AEC) was festive.

Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Director of the Study Program, started the orientation briefing by congratulating the new students on joining the MM FEB UGM. He continued with the introduction of the managers and staff of the MM FEB UGM Study Program to the explanation of how MM FEB UGM became one of the first study programs to be accredited by AACSB and included in the QS Global MBA Rankings.

Deputy Director of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D. continue to explain the technical curriculum and learning techniques that must be followed by every student while studying at MM FEB UGM. Rocky also provided direction on attitudes, enthusiasm, and commitment when taking Pre MBA, as well as soft skills development activities that included various fundamental values, behavior, international programs, and various access to facilities provided to all MM FEB UGM students. The presentation of the material was followed by a question and answer session.

The newly inaugurated CEO of MBA SA 13.0, Dama Yoga, also appeared to explain the vision and mission of MBA SA 13.0 and various types of clubs, interspersed with video screenings of MBA SA’s profile and introduction of student clubs and their programs.
