MBA Program

PROGRAM MBA (Master of Business Administration), International MBA (IMBA) and Executive MBA (EMBA)

MM FEB UGM offers three options, namely the Regular Program (MBA Program), International Program (IMBA Program) and Senior Executive Program (SEMBA Program). As long as the academic and administrative requirements are met, it is possible for students to transfer programs before the first semester takes place by first consulting and obtaining approval from the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs.

International MBA students are required to take part in at least one of the international activities abroad as a graduation requirement. MM FEB UGM offers several alternative international activities abroad, namely Dual Degree Programs, Student Exchange Programs, and International Academic Exposure. Meanwhile, MBA Program students who are interested in participating in international activities, are required to meet the applicable requirements and conditions. The Dual Degree Program is only offered to International MBA Program students.

  1. MBA (Master of Business Administration) Program
  • The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using Indonesian language.
  • Have the opportunity to join Student Exchange, Field Trip, or Short Course Program with special conditions.
  • Lectures are held on Monday to Friday at 07.00 – 16.00 WIB (West Indonesian time).
  • Regular MBA Program is available at MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus & Jakarta Campus.
  1. EMBA (Executive MBA) Program
  • The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using Indonesian language.
  • Have the opportunity to join Student Exchange, Field Trip, or Short Course Program with special conditions.
  • The lectures are held on Monday to Friday at 19.00 – 22.00 WIB (West Indonesian time).
  • EMBA Program is available at MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus.
  1. SEMBA (Senior Executive MBA) Program
  • The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using Indonesian language.
  • Have the opportunity to join Student Exchange, Field Trip, or Short Course Program with special conditions.
  • SEMBA lectures at MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus are held three times a month, every Saturday at 07.00 – 21.00 WIB (West Indonesian time).
  • SEMBA lectures at MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus are held every Friday at 19.00-22.00 and every Saturday at 08.00 – 18.00 WIB (West Indonesian time).
  • SEMBA Program is available at MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus & Jakarta Campus.
  1. IMBA (International MBA) Program
  • The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using English language.
  • Required to take part in one of the programs, namely Dual Degree (Double Degree), Student Exchange (Student Exchange), Field Trip (Academic International exposure) or Short Course Program (Summer Program)
  • Lectures are scheduled from Monday to Friday at 07.00 – 16.00 WIB
  • For MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, lectures are held on Friday at 19.00 – 22.00 WIB and Saturday at 08.00 – 18.00 WIB.

Students can be declared graduated from MM FEB UGM and obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, if the student concerned:

  1. Have taken at least 44 Semester Credit Units (SKS) including Thesis according to the course structure presented in Table 2.2.
  2. Have followed and passed the mandatory non-credit course, namely the Leadership Enhancement and Acceleration Program (LEAP), which can be seen in Table 2.5.
  3. Have a minimum cumulative GPA (GPA) of 3.00 with a maximum of two grades of C and/or C+.
  4. No grade less than C.
  5. Pass the Thesis Exam.
