Sustainability Management is now open as a new concentration in our MBA program. With
courses such as Environmental Impact Assessment and ESG Investment and Reporting,
students will gain critical skills needed to assess and improve business practices. Graduates
can pursue impactful careers as sustainability leaders in private enterprises, public institu-
tions, or academia, with growing opportunities such as Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs)
and sustainability auditors. Our partnerships with local SMEs and national corporations in
sustainability sectors ensure practical, real-world experience in the field.

CONCENTRATION COURSES

1. Sustainability Leadership

This course equips students with essential skills to be effective sustainability
leaders. Combining theory and practice, students will explore the principles,
challenges, and applications of sustainability leadership. They will analyze key
concepts, examine real-world case studies, and learn to manage complexity
and engage stakeholders. By emphasizing visionary, creative, and inclusive
leadership styles, the course prepares students to drive transformational change
for a sustainable future

2. Environmental Impact Assessment

The course focuses on the principles and importance of environmental impact
analysis for businesses. Students will learn the step-by-step process for assess-
ing developmental proposals, including problem recognition, screening, scoping,
assessment, review, decision-making, and follow-up. This process may involve
report preparation and presentation. Topics include social impacts, risk analysis,
sustainability assessment, climate change, disaster risk management, health
impacts, and indigenous impacts. Additionally, students will analyze various
global case studies related to EIA to understand practical applications.

3. Technology and Innovation Management for Sustainability

The course demonstrates how modern technologies drive sustainable success
by improving social and environmental performance. As consumers value
sustainability, firms can utilize innovations like AI, IoT, and digital twins to optimize
resources and lower carbon emissions. It emphasizes managing technology and
innovation to meet sustainability goals, viewing technology as an enabler and
innovation as a route to competitive advantage. Students learn to leverage
sustainability for future-ready business operations

4. ESG Investment and Reporting

This course covers Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and
their impact on investment and corporate reporting. Students will study core ESG
concepts and the ethics of sustainable investing. Key topics include assessing
environmental and social factors, corporate governance in sustainable practic-
es, and integrating ESG into financial analysis. The course discusses global ESG
reporting frameworks like GRI and SASB, preparing students to evaluate and
communicate ESG performance. Through case studies and projects, students
will analyze ESG data and use sustainable finance tools to understand ESG’s role
in risk management. This course prepares students to navigate the evolving ESG
investment landscape and make responsible financial decisions

5. Research Methods for Sustainable Development

The course equips students to design, collect, and analyze data for the inquiry
into sustainable development challenges. It emphasizes quantitative and
qualitative methods, covering statistical analysis, case studies, interviews,
participatory action research, and design thinking for sustainability issues.
Students participate in workshops on data collection, analysis, and thesis writing
related to sustainability practices in their concentration courses. This strength-
ens their analytical skills and prepares them for impactful sustainability research.
