Following the Orientation session on Friday February 2, 2018, new students of Batch Regular 72 and Executive 31 had Business Fun Games as one of the series for Leadership Enhancement and Acceleration Program (LEAP) held by Master in Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM) Yogyakarta on Saturday February 3, 2018.
Dr. Tarsisius Hani Handoko, M.B.A., Director of MM FEB UGM, and Bayu Sutikno, Ph.D., Deputy Director of Academic Affairs MM FEB UGM, opened the event at 8 am by giving a short speech and a group photo session with the students and trainers. Prof. Djamaludin Ancok, Ph.D., Dr. Neila Ramdhani, M.Si., M.Ed., Galang Lufityanto, M.Psi., Ph.D., Indrianingsih, S.Psi. and some MM FEB UGM staffs guided the students to play some prepared games. The games were aimed at understanding on the importance of togetherness, building leadership, managing a good management, and encouraging integrity. For about 3 hours, the students played “No Hands Baloon”, “Train Baloon”, “Birthday Line”, and “Holahoop”.
After lunch break, the students experienced “Titanic & Blind Figure”, “Magic Carpet”, and “All Stand-Up” which focused on achieving a group’s vision and mission. In closing, the trainers gave motivational briefing to the 162 students on the hidden meaning of the games played.
