The three-day training has passed and come to the end of the short course program. All the 34 students were very enthusiastic during the lecturing session in MM FEB UGM.
Taking place on April 18, 2018, the closing ceremony was started with a speech from Dr. Hani Handoko, M.B.A. as the Director of Master in Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM). Hani congratulated the students for completing the short course of which would contribute to practicable and reflectable knowledge. He expressed his gratitude for trusting the 4 batches of training program to MM FEB UGM and apologized for any lack of service during the program. Hani offered the students to revisit MM FEB UGM to explore its facilities. At last, he motivated and supported the students to keep on improving.
Dr. Ferdinand Risamasu, M.Sc., Agr., as the Director of Master in Management Universitas Cenderawasih (MM UNCEN) extend his gratefulness in return that his students could bring much useful insight to Papua. He apologized for any wrongdoings his students might do during the short course program.
In the closing ceremony, the students received their certificate which was given to Yoospina Fatagur representatively. On the other side, Ester Burako was delegated to convey her testimony out of the short course. She claimed that she was proud of being one of the participants who was lucky to get much knowledge and insight from the lecturers. Since most of them was civil servant, task force officer, and other business doers in Papua, she believed that they could apply the result of the short course to work better and have well-improved decision making. At the end of her speech, she extended her gratitude and expectation on the sustainability of the short course.
It was interesting that in the end of the closing ceremony, the participants presented a song entitled “Aku Papua” which described the diversity of the people and nature.
