Packing the theme of “Infrastructure As Economic Growth Stimulant”, Kafegama MM of East Java in collaboration with PJB Academy successfully held a business discussion forum which took place on January 23, 2018.
Moderated by Dr. Deddy Marciano, SE, MM, an alumnae of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Batch Regular 15, the event was started with a short speech from Iwan Firstantara, CEO of PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB), and another one from Muhammad Munir, the Chairman for Kafegama MM of East Java who was an alumnae of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Batch Executive 7.
The moderator invited Iwan Firstantara, Dr. Ir. D. Agung Krisprimandoyo, M.M. who was the Director of Ciputra Group, and Drs. A. K. Ikang Fawzi, M.B.A. who was the Chairman of Kafegama MM, and A. Tony Prasetyantono, M.Sc., Ph.D. who was the Head of Center for Economic and Public Policy Study as the keynote speaker. Agung Krisprimandoyo who was an alumnae of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Batch Regular 9 gave the topic of “The Locomotive of Economic Growth” where he stressed on the property business as the locomotive and carriage of national economy. Ikang, who was the Vice Chief of Communication Promotion and Exhibition for Real Estate Indonesia (REI), as the third speaker described the importance of his organization in contributing infrastructure development, the private sector township development, special economy area, industrial sector area, and tourism area. Then, Tony explained the “Economic Outlook 2018” which consisted of economy development, inflation rate, exchange rate, BI 7-day repo rate, and interbank interest rate.
After the series of seminar, the forum had a lively question and answer session, informal networking session of Kafegama MM, and group photo sessions.
