Students of International Batch 72 and Regular Batch 71 attended the Guest Lecture held on September 12, 2018. The speaker of the Guest Lecture was Rajarshi Chakravorty who was the Vice President of Olam Coffee for Indonesia & Timor Leste.
Olam International Limited was operating in Global Supply Chain Management for agro commodity and food ingredient which expanded its business over 60 countries and operated to procure and market 14 commodities to 40,000 customers over the 60 countries.
Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. as the Deputy Director of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta opened the event by welcoming Rajarshi Chakravorty as well as Alief Ikhtiar Wicaksono, the Corporate HR of PT Olam Indonesia. Then, Rajarshi Chakravorty explained his mastery in “Agribusiness & Digitization Unleashing the Opportunities” where he stressed on 6 important points; what is agribusiness, challenges and opportunity in agribusiness, digital revolution, large buckets of digital in agri, key parameters for growth to scale as well as scope and mandate for success digitization.
