Graduation of October 2018 Hits 240 Alumni on Record

Pre-Graduation Ceremony for the period of October 2018 came to a new record for having the most graduates compared to the previous periods. There were 95 graduates from Yogyakarta campus and the other 145 ones from Jakarta campus.

Asyraf Mursalina, a student of Regular Batch 41 Jakarta, was the best graduate of the period. Completing her study only in 1 year and 5 months, Asyraf achieved an almost perfect GPA on 3,98. “After graduation, we will return to our previous daily basis. Most of us will go back to our workplace. Let’s show how the Master study change our mindset by initiating a solid teamwork in our organization/company. Let’s get rid of silos among units and departments. Stop asking ‘what kind of benefit will I get?’ Instead, start saying ‘what can I contribute for my team to achieve our goals?’. I do believe that a strong teamwork will support our country’s betterment, prosperity, and welfare,” said Asyraf in her speech representing her fellow graduates.

In addition, the employee of BPJS Kesehatan urged her colleagues to enliven the synergy of working together rather than maintain the individualism and egotistical attitude. “A synergy of teamwork is a crucial success key for many people by introspecting ‘based on my capacity, what contribution can I give?’. Mutual cooperation has been our value. In line with UGM motto ‘locally rooted, globally respected’ and as proud alumni of the best university in Indonesia, let’s unite for the synergy of working together and solid teamwork starting in our daily life,” added Asyraf.

Following Asyraf, a speech was given by Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah as the representative of KAFEGAMA MM. He was an alumnae of Executive B Batch 25 Jakarta who was the Director of Niaga Garuda Indonesia at that moment.

Then, the Arts and Entertainment Centrum (AEC) student club presented an exceptional performance of Wanodya Dance. It was a traditional dance reflecting Javanese women who respected their culture and had positive well-ordered manner and attitude.
