Opening Ceremony of PIM Sri Lanka Batch V

Collaboration between Master in Management (MM) FEB UGM and Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka had reached its 5th batch bringing in training program of Strategic Management for Public Sector.

On December 10, 2018, the Opening Ceremony of PIM training Batch V was attended by Dr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc. as the Dean of FEB UGM, Dr. T. Hani Handoko, M.B.A., and Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. as the Board of Directors of MM FEB UGM. In his opening speech, Eko Suwardi thanked PIM Sri Lanka for the educational cooperation in conducting training on Strategic Management for Public Sector. He said that Indonesia and Sri Lanka had been maintaining good bilateral relations, so a continuous sustainable cooperation was really expected.

Dilhan Virendra Goonetilleke as the training coordinator for PIM Sri Lanka extended his gratitude to the host. He added that the training would give new insight for the participants in managing an organization in Indonesia through studying its vision and mission, strategic planning, and strengths and weaknesses.

As an official opening of the training program for PIM Batch V, Eko Suwardi beat a gong for five times and exchanged souvenirs with the distinguished guest as well as took group photos with the 41 training participants.
