Pre-Graduation Ceremonial Night is regularly held by MM FEB UGM four times a year i.e. in January, April, July, and October. For the period of January 2019, there were 145 graduates joining the event.
Yessica, a student of Executive B Batch 33 Jakarta, achieved the best graduate with an almost perfect 3.98 GPA. Representing her fellow graduates, she delivered her speech putting a special thank you notes for the Board of Directors of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta and Jakarta for the good management, the lecturers for giving the applicable knowledge, and staffs for facilitating the learning process. She wished all the best for MM FEB UGM and believed in its continuous development as well as maintaining the excellent service.
“It is such a great honor for us to be a part of MM FEB UGM. As the only school of business accredited by AACSB, MM FEB UGM is very prestigious with an international standard on its program quality, teaching staffs, and campus facilities. The achievement comes as an opportunity for students. The teaching staff is undoubtedly qualified. They are expert in each area of study with various experience and qualifications. The sharing knowledge contributes positively for the students improvement, in some cases it is applied directly in our daily working activities. Besides, with the wide access to immerse ourselves in well-known partner universities through student exchange and dual degree program, the students have the chance to experience cross cultural education, and open another space for job offering overseas,” said Yessica.
Dr. Hani Handoko, M.B.A. as the Director of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta congratulated the graduates and announced 22 cumlaude awardees. Hani Handoko also reported 6 graduates with the fastest period of study, 9 graduates who took international exposure program, 3 graduates who won competition, and 13 graduates sponsored by their companies. On the other hand, Dr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc. as the Dean of FEB UGM complimented on the graduates achievement following the short speech from Anugrah Pratama, S.Si., M.M. who represented the alumni or KAFEGAMA MM.
At the end of the event, the Dean of FEB UGM, Board of Directors, and lecturers of MM FEB UGM shook hands and rejoiced with the graduates and welcomed them as the 11.604 alumni of MM FEB UGM.
