Business Fun Games was one of obligatory activities in MM FEB UGM which aimed to build students’ creative and innovative leadership skills through some attractive team building games.
Dr. T. Hani Handoko, M.B.A. as the Director of MM FEB UGM inaugurated the event by giving an opening speech which was followed by his Deputy, Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. The students also got the opportunity to complete the session with Prof. Djamaludin Ancok, M.A., Ph.D., Dr. Neila Ramdhani, M.Si, Galang Lufityanto, M.Psi., Ph.D., and Indrianingsih, S.Psi as the instructors.
Taking place on February 9, 2019, the Business Fun Games event was started with Balloon Game. The students were divided into groups and asked to split less into pairing partner. Each pair raced against other pairs to transfer the balloon placed between their legs to their forehead.
They had other games called Birthday-line, Holahoop, Titanic and Blind Figure, Magic Carpet, and All Stand Up following the starting game. Besides, they were explained the meaning and learning goals of all the games by the instructors. In closing, the students and the instructors had sharing session to enable an effective two-way learning process on leadership and teamwork.
