Master in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM) has ended the year of 2020 with increasingly proud achievements. These global achievements are certainly done by the outstanding leadership of MM FEB UGM Management of Yogyakarta and Jakarta Campus in carrying out its duties for the last 5 years. It’s been a great five years under the leadership of Dr. Hani Handoko, Dr. Sumiyana, Dr. Bayu Sutikno at the MM FEB UGM (Yogyakarta Campus) and Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin, Dr. Rusdi Akbar and Dr. Bowo Setiyono (Jakarta Campus). The handover ceremony of MM FEB UGM Management was held on Monday (1/4/2021) online by zoom.
Dr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc.as Dean of FEB UGM began the opening of this ceremony by conveying the highest appreciation to MM FEB UGM Management from the previous period, both MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta or Jakarta campus who had worked hard, sincerely and intelligently to develop MM FEB UGM. “The Management Services and all of the faculty staff will all be remembered by all of us for their dedication,” said Eko. Eko hoped that the previous managers will continue to share his experience and give input that need to be informed to the new managers for the betterment of MM FEB UGM. “To the new managers, I say Happy Working , we will synergize, work together, join hand in hand to advance MM FEB UGM together with the Dean, Head of Department, Secretary of Department, and so on,” said Eko.”We know that in the future the challenges will be tougher,” Eko continued.
The ceremony was marked by signing the Handover News from the previous manager to the newly-in-office manager, witnessed by the Dean and continued with the Submission of Last Report Book of the previous Management and a joint photo session.
Hani Handoko as the previous director also expressed his gratitude to the Dean for his outstanding support, and to Head of Department and Secretary of Department for their cooperation so far. “This support is also great for our management colleagues, the managers of MM FEB Jogja and Jakarta is a great team, and Mr. Rusdi Akbar also Pak Sumiyana who has finished his duty with me as well,” said Hani. Hani also expressed his gratitude to Kafegama MM, MMSA UGM and the dedication of MM FEB UGM staffs. “We leave MM with relief, because we go through it together by flying high, and the next manager will be able to fly higher and higher,” he continued. Hani also expressed his apology if during his leadership there were many wrong-doing intentionally or unintentionally. Making decisions would not always be taken easily but we believed that all decision taken is for the betterment of the program.
The current manager for the year 2020-2025, Dr. Amin Wibowo also spoke at this event by thanking the Management Department of FEB UGM for choosing him to manage MM FEB UGM with Dr. Bayu Sutikno. “As the new manager in this program, of course I will learn a lot from the previous manager,” said Amin. “Thank you also to Mr. Hani Handoko for equipping us with such extraordinary knowledge, both in terms of the quality of this program and the quality of human resources, very best personnel in this program, and we will need a very extraordinary cooperation later with both friends from Kafegama MM and MMSA UGM” concluded Amin.
