The graduation ceremony for the January 2021 period was again carried out boldly, due to the pandemic condition which has not improved so far. This ceremony was held on Wednesday (20/01/2021) at 12.00 WIB virtually.
Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin as the Director of MBA Program of UGM Jakarta Campus congratulated the graduates and their families. In his report, Tandelilin conveyed that the number of graduates in the January 2021 period was 107, 62 graduates were from Yogyakarta Campus and 45 were from Jakarta Campus.
Riski Prasetyo Putro became The Best Graduate with a GPA of 3.96 from Batch 72 International Class. “Today we are closing a chapter in our life’s journey, but of course this chapter is related to the final chapter in our life book because there are many other chapters that we have, face with various other challenges, but I am sure that in completing lectures with all our limitations during this pandemic, it will make the challenges we face in the future feel lighter”, he said. Riski expressed his pride as alumni for being able to achieve the M.B.A title from AACSB which is Internationally accredited. Riski also invited all graduates to be alumni who are qualified, competent, with integrity, and committed to providing devotion for Indonesia.
Eko Suwardi, Ph.D. as Dean of FEB UGM closed the event with congratulations and successes to all those who have achieved the MBA degree. “I hope you, as alumni of MBA Program from UGM, should be able to make a real contribution at work and home in the future, and in the community where you live”, said Eko. “Of course, the contribution is by our fields and expertise because it is the form of that contribution where will be more useful,” he continued. Eko also hopes that after becoming alumni of the MBA Program of UGM, someday the alumni will still be pleased to be called back to the campus to share experiences with the future students.
