MM FEB UGM and PT PJB: Financial Modeling Training Level 1 Batch 2

MM FEB UGM’s collaboration with PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) in organizing Financial Modelling training continues in batch 2. The Financial Modeling training has been running smoothly and was attended by 18 participants online for 3 days, on 21, 22, and 25 June 2021.

Amin Wibowo, Ph.D. as the Director of MM FEB UGM warmly welcomed all the participants of this training, and the 2nd batch this year shows that what was carried out in September 2019 previously provided benefits for PJB’s staffs. “In these 3 days you will practice with 3 lecturers who have proven their abilities in the field of Financial Modeling, and of course, this kind of collaboration will make the organization better and develop to face challenges and business complexities that are increasingly difficult,” said Amin. Amin hopes that this training will be useful for the participants and he remind them to keep giving suggestions and criticisms so that MM FEB UGM always improve its training programs and understand more about what is desired from other institutions and can be delivered properly.

Agus Hariadi as Head of PJB Academy’s Muara Tawar Campus also expressed his gratitude for the good cooperation, and he said that this is very useful for PJB staff regarding Financial Modeling material. “This material is needed by PJB staffs and can be implemented, especially at PJB,” he continued. Agus also officially opened PT PJB’s Financial Modeling Training Level 1 Batch 2 and continued with taking a group photo.

For 3 days, the training took place with very active discussions in the class and the participants looked very enthusiastic. The facilitators who are qualified in the field of Financial Modelling have been invited to present their material, namely Bowo Setiyono, Ph.D., Eddy Junarsin, Ph.D. and I Wayan Nuka Lantara, Ph.D.

In the last session on the third day, Amin was again present to officially close this Financial Modelling training. In his closing remarks, Amin expressed his gratitude to the facilitators and all participants. Amin hopes that this online training will not reduce the quality of the materials and discussions that have been carried out, due to UGM policy which not allow face-to-face teaching.
