To provide knowledge and insight on how start-up companies grow, in facing the opportunities and challenges in the era of technological acceleration during the Covid-19 pandemic, MM FEB UGM engages the students to improve their creativity with the right strategy to grow and be sustainable in the New Normal Era. MM FEB UGM invited Hita Supranjaya, Director of BukaPengadaan [B2B/B2G] Bukalapak in the Executive Series at the beginning of this semester. This Executive Series was attended by more than 650 participants consisting of students from MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta and Jakarta via Zoom on Friday (27-08-2021).
Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Ph.D. as Dean of FEB UGM, in his speech, conveyed his pride to MM FEB UGM that always carries out executive series, which is a bridge for students to learn and know the business practices of well-known CEOs in Indonesia. This opportunity presents MM FEB UGM alumni as the speaker from Bukalapak. “Thank you, Mas Hita, for returning to campus to share your knowledge and experiences with MM FEB UGM students in the field of start-up, and we hope other Supranjayas will come after these students graduate,” Eko said.
Hita Supranjaya, S.E., M.M. started his presentation by telling his story while studying at MM FEB UGM, where Hita was also actively participating in student club activities, namely CnC. In addition, Hita delivered a brief profile on Open Procurement and many discussions about various business industries in Indonesia. “There have been changes and adjustments to regulations during this pandemic in various industrial sectors, and this new normal era has forced several changes, for example from offline to online, mobility levels, changes in product category purchases, as well as the rise and fall of industry.”, He added that around 74% of Indonesians had ventured online in various fields of the business industry.
