The 34th Anniversary of the Master of Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM), which was held in the form of Tasyakuran, was lively with the launch of the CFBC-8 Case Book, Book 4 Windu MM FEB UGM “Printing Business Leaders” and the inauguration of the Golf Simulator.
Director of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, Jakarta Campus, Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin, Ph.D., explained that since its establishment in 1988, MM FEB UGM has graduated 13,918 graduates spread throughout the country and abroad. Currently, there are 2,013 students consisting of 903 students at the Yogyakarta campus and 1,101 students at the Jakarta campus. “This MM is ours. Togetherness is what makes progress and development.”
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, Prof. Didi Achjari, Ph.D., said MM FEB UGM continues to advance and develop to contribute to the nation and state. According to him, the government has high hopes for MM and FEB in addition to making achievements in world rankings. Still, the performance of lecturers and students in research is also improving. “Of course, 34 years is a very long journey. Our contribution to this country is not enough in its current achievements. The government has big expectations to become our nation’s flagship,” he said.
Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Alumni Prof. Paripurna Sugarda, Ph.D., congratulated MM FEB UGM for celebrating its 34th Anniversary. He hoped that MM FEB UGM would continue to develop into the best business school in the world. “Happy 34th Birthday, and I am happy to be a part of the development of MM FEB UGM. UGM School of Management can compete internationally, which means ” Locally Rooted Globally Respected,” he said. Along with the Vice Chancellor’s remarks, the Head of the MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., handed over a replica of the book cover to the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and UGM Alumni, Prof. Dr. Paripurna Sugarda as a marker for the launch of the book 4 Windu MM FEB UGM.
The routine schedule for this 34th Anniversary celebration, the book Cases of Indonesian Company Management, was also apart from the launch of the book Printing Business Leaders. An event that is no less interesting and important is the launch of a new facility, namely a golf simulator, which is expected to be a means of building leadership character for the MM FEB UGM academic community. The reading and presentation of certificates of appreciation for selected exemplary employees at the Yogyakarta campus and Jakarta campus marked the end of the Tasyakuran event.
