After being held online for approximately 2 years, the Graduation Night event for the July 2022 Period of the MM FEB UGM Study Program can finally be held offline by releasing 104 graduates on Tuesday night (19/7/2022).
Director of MM FEB UGM Study Program, Jakarta Campus, Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin Ph.D., delivered the Graduate Report by reading 30 graduates with Cumlaude predicate for this period. The graduates this time consisted of 47 students from the Yogyakarta Campus and 57 from the Jakarta Campus. Alpha Alan Darma Saputra achieved the best graduate with a GPA of 3.96 from the EMBA – 48 MM class FEB UGM Jakarta Campus.
Alpha Alan Darma Saputra, the graduates’ representative, gave his speech, “Locally rooted and globally respected, describing the graduates of the best business schools in the country. The collaboration and AACSB ranking received by MM FEB UGM is a recognition that this beloved traditional campus has global relevance. What’s more, MM FEB UGM provides us with more than adequate supplies to become individuals with broad insight and can adapt to face global challenges while prioritizing ethics.”
Tri Andayani, President Director of PT PELNI (Persero) and an alumnus of MM FEB UGM, shared her experiences while studying at MM FEB UGM and provided motivation. “As graduates of MM FEB UGM, you will become professionals who are required to be ready to work when entering the world of work. Focus on ourselves, but that doesn’t mean being selfish. Setting goals at what age you want to be, how, and what you want to do. Be an empty glass, ready to accept others’ knowledge, input, suggestions, and criticism. Welcome to the professional world.”
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Didi Achjari, Ph.D., also gave his speech. “Guyub Rukun Migunani, we hope alumni can get along and contribute benefit to the nation. After graduating, the benefits are not only for themselves and their families but for the people. Once again, we congratulate the alumni for a total of 104 graduates who will be graduating tomorrow.”
The Graduation Night became one of the recurring events of MM FEB UGM before releasing the graduation students at Graha Sabha Pramana (GSP) the next day. The Graduation Night event was also enlivened by the performance of DeKAFE’19, which consisted of Dr. Sahid Susilo Nugroho, Rusdi Akbar, Ph.D., Noorsalam, Dr. Rangga Almahendra, Prof. Didi Achjari, and Doddy Bagus Jatmiko.
