Sports Competition Virtufest 5.0 is a series of events organized by MBA SA 13.0 together with Badminton Club and Basketball Club MM FEB UGM which aims to increase cooperation and synergy to strengthen good relations with the entire academic community of MM FEB UGM. This event also aims to channel the competitive spirit, and sportsmanship, increase health immunity, strengthen brotherhood, and the interests/talents of students and the academic community of MM FEB UGM towards these 2 sports.
Starting with the badminton sports competition which was held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 09.00 WIB, which was officially opened by Amin Wibowo, Ph.D. as the Director of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, Yogyakarta Campus. The badminton competition, which was held at the MM FEB UGM Leadership Hall, was attended by 47 players from 5 competition categories. The results of the matches based on categories are as follows: (1) Women’s singles category, 1st winner was Kurnia Indah, 2nd runner up was Zepti Ariana, and 3rd place was Rossiani Wulandari; (2) In the men’s singles category, Dwi Kisworo won 1st place, 2nd place by Ida Bagus Gede HSM, and 3rd place by Muh. Jodi Aprianda F; (3) For the women’s doubles category, 1st place was won by Zepti Ariana and Rossiani Wulandari, 2nd place was won by Dewantika Furita and Fatya Hafizha, 3rd place was won by Farah Auliya Zulfa and Rizky Farah; (4) Men’s doubles category, 1st place was won by Ida Bagus Gede HSM and IGN Komang, 2nd place was won by Suyanto and Bashori, and 3rd place was won by Ahmad Faisal and Rafli Ichwan; and (5) Mixed doubles category, 1st place was won by Dwi Kisworo and Jihan, 2nd place was won by Miftahudin Nur Ihsan and Yuliana, 3rd place was won by Mufti Ramdani and Veronica Swasti.
Basketball will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 09.00 WIB on the D’Four field. The basketball match was attended by 33 players from 7 teams. The results of the matches are as follows; 1st winner was Team 77+78, 2nd runner up was Team 80B and 3rd place was Team 80A. The event ended with the awarding of competition prizes.
The Sports Competition Virtufest 5.0 event was very lively and lively. It is very visible that the team cohesiveness consists of various classes/classes, which further adds to the close kinship of the entire MM FEB UGM academic community.
