For the third time, the Master of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM UGM), achieved in the QS Global MBA Ranking 2023. This achievement is the third year for MM UGM to become one of the business schools ranked by the world ranking of the Quacquarelli Symonds institute ( QS). Competition is getting tougher with the increasing number of ranked MBA programs, from 286 programs in 2021 to 300 programs in 2022. There are five aspects of assessment used as a method in the QS Global MBA Ranking: (1) Employability, (2) Return on Investment, (3 ) Entrepreneurship & Alumni Outcomes, (4) Thought Leadership, (5) Class & Faculty Diversity.
The QS Global MBA Ranking 2023 show that MM UGM can improve its position to be ranked 72 in the world in the aspect of Entrepreneurship & Alumni Outcomes compared to ranking 74 in the previous year. Meanwhile, MM UGM is ranked 151-200 for Class & Faculty Diversity and Thought Leadership aspects. MM UGM is ranked 40th in Asia and 201-250 worldwide.
MM UGM consistently innovates and expands engagement with domestic and foreign stakeholders, both alumni and industry partners. With more than 39 foreign partner universities, MM UGM’s mission to develop strategic business leaders with integrity continues to expand and deepen its international collaborations. MM UGM became a pioneer in developing the ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management program, which has now entered the 2nd batch with 18 students from various ASEAN countries and 11 European students. This program is fully funded by the Norwegian government and in collaboration with the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and the University of Agder, Norway.
