ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) is an international program dedicated to the development of leadership capacity and green entrepreneurship. This program was formed to support college graduates and minority-marginal groups to obtain better income through the green entrepreneurship they lead. This consortium was formed by 11 well-known universities in ASEAN and also supported by several institutions from Greece and Cyprus. In Universitas Gadjah Mada, this activity was coordinated by the Department of Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business with Prof. Nurul Indarti, Ph.D. as the steering committee.
ANGEL successfully held its Training of Trainers (TOT) on November 21-23. This activity is the first face-to-face meeting for the activists. Prof. Nurul Indarti, Dr. Rocky Adiguna, Dr. Tour of Nastiti, Dr. Widya Paramita, and Afif Donny Sambudi, S.E., were present as representatives of Universitas Gadjah Mada.
In its three years of service, the Angel program has entered its second year in 2022. In the first year, diagnostic activities and analysis of the Green Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Gap have been held. This year, Angel focuses on strengthening the development of the green community in each ASEAN country involved. In the training of trainers held at the Malaysian Technology University (UTM), Angel held an Information Forum, Green leadership and entrepreneurship training, as well as conferences at the member University.
