The Master of Business Administration Student Team, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (MBA FEB UGM) recorded brilliant achievements in the business competition, “Business Case Competition MJM MRC UI 2023,” which was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The team known as the “Management Extraordinary Team (MET)” succeeded in making extraordinary achievements in the competition held by the Master Journey in Management, Management Research Center, University of Indonesia (MJM MRC UI).
In a competition attended by various teams from well-known universities, MET displayed impressive performance by presenting innovative and measurable business solutions. This team consists of three members who have a strong background in management, namely Nur Cahyana Eko (Human Resources MBA 79), Megawati Armin (Entrepreneurship MBA 79), and Tantri Murti Sari (Pre-MBA 83).
Tantri Murti Sari stated that their success in this competition was also thanks to the extraordinary support from their supervisors and the entire support team from MBA FEB UGM. “This achievement is significant and makes me more enthusiastic about starting to develop myself here. I am grateful to have a team partner from class 79 who allows me to learn a lot and makes me eager to learn about analysis and how to solve problems,” He said.
Meanwhile, Nur Cahyana Eko, Chair of MET, said their victory resulted from hard work, solid collaboration, and in-depth knowledge of the business challenges presented. “We hope that our achievements can inspire other MBA students to be outstanding and bring glory to UGM in general and MBA FEB UGM in particular,” he added.
Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM, expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments in this prestigious competition for this brilliant achievement. “Congratulations on the Management Extraordinary Team’s achievement as representatives of MBA UGM in the 11th Master’s Journey in Management competition. Hopefully, it will be an experience that develops all team members’ personal and professional potential!” said Rocky.
