MBA FEB UGM Jakarta has recently held the Orientation for New Students Intake February 2024. The Orientation for new students of MBA56, EMBA56, SEMBA 48, and IEMBA18 was held for two days on Saturday, February 3, 2024, and Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Auditorium on the 9th floor of MBA UGM Jakarta. The first day of Orientation began with a Welcome Remark by the Program Director of MBA UGM Jakarta Campus – Prof. Dr. Eduardus Tandelilin, M.B.A., followed by speeches from the Rector of Gadjah Mada University – Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University – Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA.
The first session was conducted by the Board of Directors (BOD) of MBA FEB UGM Jakarta, explaining the academic activities and curriculum at MBA Jakarta. Then, the afternoon session was led by Prof. Dr. Basu Swastha Dharmmestha., MBA., on Learning Strategies, which included preparation before students start their courses, and Values and Philosophy of UGM, explaining the history of FEB UGM. On the second day of the New Student Orientation, a Business Fun Game (BFG) activity was held, led by Ms. Tur Nastiti, Ms. Indrayanti, and Mr. Sentot. In the BFG activity, students were engaged in learning while playing games, where each game taught them teamwork and problem-solving skills. After this Orientation activity, it is hoped that all new students will have sufficient preparation and be ready to face their studies.
