The Master of Business Administration Student Association (MBA SA 16.0) of the Master of Business Administration Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), successfully held the final of “GREEN BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION 8.0” on May 18, 2024 at the Faculty Meeting Room, MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta campus.
The competition, which began on March 15, 2024, opened registration and accepted participant proposals as part of its activities. Andre Zuhair Hisyam, Chairman of the Committee, expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported the success of this event. “I congratulate and encourage all the finalists who have made it to this stage. Good luck!” said Andre.
Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM, emphasized that this competition is proof of the seriousness of MBA FEB UGM in addressing sustainability issues. “This competition is a concrete step from MBA FEB UGM in creating a green and sustainable future. Hopefully, the innovation and creativity of the participants will have a big impact on society and the world,” he said.
In the final event, the finalists had the opportunity to present their ideas and innovations in front of the judges consisting of Megawati Syahril, Awang Dhewangga, and Handy Partha Widianto. The three best teams were selected at the end of the event, with the WKP Corp team taking 1st place, the Ecoventure Energy Sociopreneur team in 2nd place, and the BUANG.ID team is in 3rd place.
