Graduation of CFP MBA UGM (Batch 32-35 Jakarta Class)

On Saturday (August 3, 2024), the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program, a development initiative of the MBA UGM Jakarta Campus, held a graduation ceremony for participants from Batch 32-35. The event was attended by 63 participants in person and 12 online via a Zoom for those unable to attend. The ceremony was also graced by Tri Djoko, CFP from FPSB Indonesia, and Arief Budiman, MBA, CFP, Coordinator of CFP MBA UGM.

Additionally, there was a special speech by Safir Senduk, CFP, a senior financial planning practitioner. In his speech, Safir highlighted that overcoming financial challenges requires the help of a professional planner. He identified five common challenges faced today: significant expenses for the sandwich generation, escalating consumer temptations, misleading financial influencers, FOMO trading, and finally, falling into online lending traps. The graduation ceremony proceeded with the awarding of certificates to participants from batches 32 through 35 and was wrapped up with a video montage showcasing memorable moments from the CFP training sessions.
