The Farewell Night of Prospective Graduates (MPCW) for the October 2024 period was again successfully held by the Master of Administration Business study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) which took place at the MBA FEB UGM Plaza, Yogyakarta campus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. With enthusiasm and hope, this MPCW was attended by the ranks of the Board of the Dean FEB UGM, Head of the Management Department, Board of Directors MBA FEB UGM, lecturers, alumni, and prospective graduates and their families. A total of 227 prospective graduates, consisting of 97 Yogyakarta Campus students and 130 Jakarta Campus students who successfully completed their studies in this period.
Prof. Amin Wibowo, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, in the presentation session of the prospective graduates’ report also expressed his appreciation: “There are 73 prospective graduates who proudly hold the cum laude title, on behalf of the MBA FEB UGM study program I congratulate and wish success to the prospective graduates.” He also emphasized the fantastic number of total prospective graduates in this period consisting of 50.3% men and 49.7% women. Of these, the Best Graduate title was won by Birger Kydland, a student from the University of Agder, Norway, who took a dual degree program at MBA FEB UGM, with a GPA of 3.97.
Representing the graduates, Tafia Alifianty Dinita Putri, in her speech expressed her gratitude to family, friends, lecturers, and staff who have provided support and prayers during her study journey. “Every phase we go through on this campus teaches us to develop and also grow from various aspects, both from discussions and projects and collaborations and every challenge brings constructive value in our lives beyond academic value alone. Congratulations to my colleagues who have struggled together, this is the beginning, may success always be with us all.” He said.
The event ended with the congratulation’s remarks of the Board of the Dean FEB UGM, Head of the Management Department, Board of Directors MBA FEB UGM, lecturers, and representatives of MBA FEB UGM alumni to all prospective graduates. An atmosphere of emotion and joy enveloped this event, marking a new beginning for the graduates. May their next steps be filled with success and blessings, as well as the spirit to continue learning and contributing. Congratulations to all prospective graduates, a bright future awaits!
