The Leadership Camp for students of the MBA & IMBA Class of 84 from the Yogyakarta campus, which took place at Bina Karya Guesthouse Syariah in Bantul on October 9-10, 2024, was a success. This event was part of the soft skills course called the Leadership Enhancement and Acceleration Program (LEAP), which all students are required to participate in.
The Director of the MBA Program at FEB UGM Yogyakarta, Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., opened the event by emphasizing the uniqueness of the Leadership Camp as an exclusive experience not offered by other MBA programs. “The goal of the LC is to shape students’ character so they can become resilient leaders in the professional world,” he said. He also reminded participants to maintain integrity and professionalism throughout the event at Bina Karya Guesthouse.
Eureka Consultant was once again trusted as the facilitator for this event. The Coordinator of Eureka Consultant, Genta Mahardika, motivated the participants, saying, “Whether you think positively or negatively is your choice. Enjoy the process and this journey by looking at it from the positive side.”
The students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including Ice Breaking Games, Leadership Games, and MMUGM Hits on the first day. On the second day, they were presented with material on “Leadership Development” by the Board of Directors (BOD), followed by an outbound activity. The event concluded with the announcement of the winners of the individual and group competitions, followed by a group photo session.
