MBA FEB UGM Welcomes New Leadership of MBA SA 18.0 with Enthusiasm and Optimism

The Master of Business Administration program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) in Yogyakarta warmly welcomed the newly appointed leadership of MBA Student Association (MBA SA) 18.0, which officially took over from MBA SA 17.0 during the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Handover Ceremony on Friday, January 24, 2024, at the Faculty Meeting Room, MBA FEB UGM, Yogyakarta.

The event was attended by Rocky Adiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta, who delivered an optimistic speech. “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I deeply appreciate the dedication of the MBA SA 17.0 team. We look forward to the performance and responsibility of the new CEO and their team. We hope this new leadership brings improvements and fresh enthusiasm in both academic and non-academic fields, with a focus on sustainability,” said Rocky Adiguna in his speech.

Rocky also acknowledged the various initiatives undertaken by MBA SA 17.0, such as the Fun Run and Ecocultura events. “Alumni, colleagues, and the academic community have given a positive response to these activities. If continued, thorough preparation will be crucial to ensure they have an even greater impact,” he added.

Indra Adi Prabowo, Chief of the Non-Academic Club, represented MBA SA 17.0 Chairman, Handitya Yusuf, who was unable to attend, and read the accountability report for MBA SA 17.0. “Finally, the leadership of MBA SA 17.0 has concluded. Although it felt fast, I hope that those continuing in leadership will uphold this trust and do even better, so that MBA SA 18.0 can achieve even more success,” said Indra.

Next, Muhammad Hanif Ramadhan was elected as the new CEO of MBA SA 18.0. In his speech, Hanif expressed, “The success of MBA SA 18.0 will be the result of collaboration from all members. I hope everyone can commit to collaborating and innovating to realize the vision and mission we have set.”

The event culminated with the symbolic handover of the MBA SA FEB UGM flag from the CEO of MBA SA 17.0 to the CEO of MBA SA 18.0, as well as the symbolic transfer of responsibilities to the academic and non-academic clubs.
