Master of Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), once again held the Leadership Potential Review (LPR) as part of the Leadership Enhancement & Acceleration Program (LEAP) agenda. This event is a mandatory program for all MBA FEB UGM students and was conducted on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta.
LPR is designed to identify, explore, and recognize students’ leadership potential while providing valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement. The program not only focuses on self-development but also serves as a platform for students to gain a clearer understanding of their leadership capabilities, which can serve as a guide in their academic and professional journey.
The execution of LPR was a collaborative effort between MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, the Human Resource Club (HRC), and Arete Consultant, a renowned leadership development facilitator. A total of 116 students from MBA-IMBA 86 participated in the assessment, representing diverse backgrounds and experiences. This diversity enriched the event, offering students the opportunity to explore their individual leadership potential.
The Leadership Potential Review (LPR) was structured into two interrelated sessions. The first session involved an individual assessment aimed at identifying key aspects such as interests, strengths, and areas for growth. Following this, participants engaged in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), allowing them to engage in deeper discussions with their peers, exchange perspectives, and refine their leadership insights.
The entire LPR program was conducted in a single day, with the objective of equipping students with a clearer understanding of their academic and career pathways. By the end of the session, participants gained enhanced self-awareness and a stronger foundation to navigate future leadership challenges.
