The Badminton Club of the Master of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) successfully held the MBA Badminton Championship (MBC) Vol. 6.0 on Friday, May 16–17, 2025, at the Leadership Hall, MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta. This biannual badminton tournament is a prestigious event that brings together members of the UGM academic community from various faculties in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
This year, a total of 34 teams, consisting of 68 participants, competed in three categories: men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The competition was both intense and festive, reflecting the strong enthusiasm of players and supporters alike. Their energy reaffirmed that unity and healthy competition remain core values of UGM students.
For two full days, cheers from spectators filled the air with excitement. From preliminary rounds to the finals, Leadership Hall became a lively hub of positive energy, healthy rivalry, and the fighting spirit of student-athletes.
The MBA Badminton Championship Vol. 6.0 was more than just a sporting competition—it served as a platform for growth, connection, and movement. It was a celebration of the UGM academic community’s vibrant spirit, not only in academics but also in maintaining balance through meaningful extracurricular engagement.
