FEB UGM Greets Alumni in Padang: Strengthening Ties and Collaboration

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) once again reached out to its alumni through the “FEB UGM Greets Alumni” program, this time held in the city of Padang. The event took place on Friday, August 1, 2025, at ZHM Premiere Padang Hotel, Mulia 3 Meeting Room, 3rd Floor. The program was divided into two main sessions: a Sharing Session from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the Alumni Gathering session from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Dr. Fery Andrianus, S.E., M.Si, representing the Universitas Gadjah Mada Alumni Family (KAGAMA), expressed his gratitude that Padang was chosen as the venue for “FEB UGM Greets Alumni.” He also conveyed his hopes: “I hope that the activity we are conducting today will bring benefits to all of us,” he said.

Through this program, FEB UGM reaffirms its commitment to maintaining strong relationships with its alumni, who have long served as strategic partners in advancing education, research, and social contributions. Beyond that, the event carried a strong emotional value. The gathering of alumni from various cohorts created an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia, rekindling bonds with their almamater. Such harmonious and close relationships serve as important social capital for building a solid, contributive, and migunani (beneficial) alumni community, not only for the faculty but also for society at large.

The event received a warm welcome from the alumni in attendance. “FEB UGM Greets Alumni” was not only a reunion but also a platform to strengthen synergy in building a better future together as part of the big family of FEB UGM.
