The Master of Business Administration Program Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), officially launched MBA FEST 11.0 under the theme “Where Connections Spark.” A series of exciting activities has been prepared by the MBA Student Association (MBA SA) 19.0 together with all MBA FEB UGM student clubs, ranging from sports competitions to arts performances, aimed at strengthening solidarity and inspiring achievement.
The opening ceremony of MBA FEST 11.0 took place on Friday, 29 August 2025, at the Leadership Hall of MBA FEB UGM, attended by students, staff, and members of the academic community. The symbolic gong strike was carried out by Erwanto Widyatmoko, representing Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Director of MBA FEB UGM, who was unable to attend. In his remarks, Erwanto emphasized the deeper meaning behind the event. “This event aims to strengthen camaraderie and foster the spirit of collaboration. The goal is to bring together Regular MBA, SEMBA students, and alumni to reinforce networking and inspire excellence. Thank you to all committee members for your hard work,” he stated.
MBA FEST 11.0 is more than just an entertainment festival, it serves as a platform for building networks, fostering cross-cohort collaboration, and channeling the creativity of MBA FEB UGM students. Yoga Disgantara Mahendra Putra Pratama, Chairperson of MBA FEST 11.0, emphasized the spirit behind this year’s theme: positioning connections among students and alumni as the spark for greater synergy.
Following the opening ceremony, the badminton competition marked the first match in a series of upcoming sports and arts competitions. Each event not only showcased participants’ skills but also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among MBA FEB UGM students and the broader academic community. With the spirit of “Where Connections Spark,” MBA FEST 11.0 is expected to become a space for collective growth, shared inspiration, and the strengthening of professional networks that will continue long after students complete their studies.
