MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus once again welcomed new students for the February 2026 intake. A total of 125 students, consisting of 122 Indonesian citizens and 3 international students working as diplomats, officially began their academic journey to develop managerial competencies, broaden global perspectives, and build professional networks within a collaborative learning environment.
Prior to the start of classes, all new students were required to participate in the New Student Orientation program, held over two days on Saturday–Sunday (February 7–8, 2026) at the MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus. The orientation was officially opened by the Director of MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, Prof. Gugup Kismono, Ph.D., as part of the program’s effort to introduce the academic environment, learning system, and core values that form the foundation of education at MBA FEB UGM.
During the orientation, students also attended sessions on Learning Strategies and Values and Philosophy of UGM, delivered by Prof. Dr. Basu Swastha Dharmmestha, MBA. Through these sessions, students were introduced to the postgraduate learning experience and encouraged to understand UGM’s fundamental values, which emphasize integrity, diversity, and meaningful contributions to society.
On the second day, students participated in the Business Fun Game (BFG), a signature activity of the MBA FEB UGM new student orientation. Through a series of interactive activities, students engaged in learning while playing, while also strengthening teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. The activity aimed to foster collaboration among students and prepare them for the academic journey ahead.
Through this orientation program, all new students are expected to gain strong initial preparation, both academically and non-academically, enabling them to fully engage in the learning process and personal development throughout their studies at MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus.
