The MBA Program of FEB UGM Jakarta Campus once again organized a professional certification program in the field of finance, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Batch 43. A total of 25 participants attended the opening session, which was conducted via Zoom Meeting on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
The opening ceremony began with welcoming remarks from the Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Jakarta, Mrs. Sari Sitalaksmi, M.Mgt., Ph.D., EAC. She stated that the CFP training program has produced approximately 500 alumni to date and reflects MBA FEB UGM’s commitment to supporting participants in deepening their knowledge and skills in financial planning.
Meanwhile, Arief Budiman, MBA., CFP., as the CFP Program Coordinator at MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, welcomed the participants of CFP Batch 43. “Welcome to all Batch 43 participants. Thank you for maintaining the spirit to continue developing yourselves, even toward the end of the year,” said Arief.
The opening session was also attended by Safir Senduk, CFP, a financial practitioner and literacy advocate who will serve as one of the instructors for CFP Batch 43. On this occasion, Safir emphasized that CFP training is not only relevant for professional development but also provides practical benefits for managing personal finances in everyday life.
Through CFP Batch 43, the program is expected to serve as an initial step toward comprehensive competency development in financial planning. It is hoped that throughout the training process, participants will not only obtain professional certification but also contribute positively to society through more structured, ethical, and sustainable financial planning practices.
