The opening ceremony of MBA FEST 9.0 was held with great enthusiasm at the Leadership Hall, Master of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus, on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The event was attended by students, alumni, and staff of MBA FEB UGM.
The festivities kicked off with a Sports Competition, featuring a variety of adrenaline-pumping sports, including futsal, badminton, table tennis, basketball, tennis, chess, and the mobile game Mobile Legends, giving participants a platform to showcase their skills. This event aimed not only at fostering achievements but also at strengthening the bonds among members of the MBA FEB UGM community.
Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Director of the MBA FEB UGM program, officially opened the event with his remarks. “MBA FEST is an opportunity for students, alumni, and staff to unwind and channel their energy into positive activities,” said Prof. Amin.
Handitya Syaifuddin Yusuf, CEO of MBA SA 17.0, also delivered a speech, expressing his gratitude to everyone involved in the event’s organization. He said, “I would like to thank all my friends from MBA SA and the Student Club who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this year’s MBA FEST.”
The opening of MBA FEST 9.0 was marked by the striking of the gong by Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, witnessed by Prof. Amin and the entire MBA FEB UGM community present at the event.
