The Master of Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus successfully held the Graduation and Orientation Ceremony for MBA IMBA Batch 85 on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium. A total of 124 students successfully graduated from the Pre-MBA program and are now ready to continue their MBA journey.
The event was attended by Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Board of Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, who congratulated the students for successfully passing the Pre-MBA IMBA-85 stage. “First of all, I would like to congratulate all of you who are here today, especially those in the graduation ceremony for MBA and IMBA-85 students of the MM UGM Program at Yogyakarta Campus,” said Prof. Amin.
In his speech, Prof. Amin announced that 15 students graduated from Pre-MBA 85 with Cum Laude honors. Among them, seven students achieved a GPA of 3.81, four students with a GPA of 3.88, two students with a GPA of 3.94, and two students attained a perfect GPA of 4.00. The students who achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00 were Muhammad Fadhil Rheza Respati and Virna Rania Insyira, proving that dedication and hard work are essential in achieving excellence.
Prof. Amin also encouraged other graduates whose names were not mentioned to stay motivated, as there are still opportunities to achieve similar success in the future. “A big round of applause! And for those who haven’t been called today, do not worry, because you will have your moment when you complete all your study programs. That is my best wish for you,” he remarked. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning to make meaningful contributions to society, academia, and the professional world.
The highlight of the Graduation and Orientation for MBA IMBA-85 was the symbolic awarding of Pre-MBA certificates to students. Those who are continuing to the MBA program will officially begin their first semester of study. The maximum study period for MBA IMBA-85 students is six semesters, with a final deadline on January 31, 2028. Students must register for their thesis defense no later than December 25, 2027.
