
MBA FEB UGM, in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), successfully held the FINSIGHT: Finance & HR Club OJK Insight Tour under the theme “The Role of OJK in Financial Security: Regulations and Education in Investment.” The event took place at the OJK Regional Office in Yogyakarta on Friday, February 28, 2025, featuring Risa Fajarwati, Analyst and Deputy Director of PUJK Behavior Supervision, Consumer Protection Education, and Strategic Services, as the keynote speaker.
The event aimed to provide MBA FEB UGM students with in-depth insights into OJK’s role in maintaining financial system stability and the importance of regulation and education in investment practices. Participants gained a better understanding of how OJK’s policies protect consumers while fostering a healthy and sustainable financial industry.
Beyond theoretical discussions, the event also served as a direct dialogue platform between students and financial industry practitioners, addressing various challenges and opportunities in the financial services sector. The active engagement of participants made the session more dynamic and inspiring.
One of OJK’s Deputy Analysts, Gilang Erlangga Rangkuti, emphasized in his speech, “We hope this visit not only enhances participants’ knowledge but also serves as a valuable foundation in understanding financial regulations and safer investment practices.” His statement reinforced OJK’s commitment to providing financial education that benefits the wider community.
MBA FEB UGM continues to foster collaborations with various institutions to offer students practical learning experiences. Similar programs are expected to continue, equipping students with broader financial and investment knowledge.
