Executive Series: Challenges and Opportunities of Implementing Pharma 4.0 During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Continuing the routine tradition that is very educational for well-known joint students from the alumni of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, inviting Dharma Syahputra as Chief Human Capital Officer of PT Kimia Farma, Tbk., On Friday, April 23, 2021, in the Executive Series which was held online by Zoom, attended by approximately 600 students from MM Yogyakarta and Jakarta campuses.
Eko Suwardi, Ph.D. as the Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Dharma Syahputra attendance as a speaker, he is one of the alumni of MM FEB UGM, he gives his speech and motivation how he learns about what has been done in facing the challenges of Kimia Farma in the era of 4.0. Eko said, “This is a good and valuable moment for us, students and the MM FEB UGM community, which we should always bring in speakers who are qualified in their fields because what is learned on campus is only theoretical, and practical. “Indonesia still depends on medicinal raw materials, 90% of raw materials for drugs from outside, especially from China and India, and to reduce this dependence it is necessary to invest in medicinal raw materials through PT Sumbun Farmacopia,” said Dharma. Dharma also conveyed current and future pharmaceutical trends, the digitalization transformation that is taking place in the pharmaceutical sector, and one of the main strategies of Pharma 4.0.
