One semester has passed, MBA SA 13.0 leading period is coming to an end. The election of the CEO of MBA SA has been prepared in this transition period to bridge the passing of MBA SA 13.0’s reign to MBA SA 14.0. The debate between candidates is one of the activities that can provide an opportunity for the candidates to be able to convince the voters who come from UGM MBA students themselves.
On Tuesday (21/12/2022), MBA SA 14.0 CEO candidates, Oktavian Pratama Alfarishy and Jerry Andreas Zaluchu from MBA 80 class has successfully performed at the debate forum. This forum is the last activities before the official MBA SA 14.0 CEO voting. This event was held hybrid at the MBA FEB UGM and Youtube live.
The debate involved several panelists from the MBA FEB UGM academic community, named Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., the deputy director of MBA FEB UGM, Dama Yoga Agung Winata and Veronica Swasti Paramitha Putri as MBA SA 13.0 and 12.0’s CEOs. The event opened with the presentation of the candidates’ vision and mission. Oktavian as the first candidate began the presentation followed by Jerry as the second candidate. The forum continued with a questioning session from the panelists, where both of the candidates argued with each other about the programs they will carry out and their respective commitments if they were elected as the CEO of MBA SA 14.0.
Closing remarks from both candidates ended the debate forum. “We will try our best to make MBA SA achieve a higher level, Maximizing a short period to reach our goals”, said both of them. “A good leader is a leader who lives up to his words”, said the MC while closing the forum.
