PROGRAM SPECIFICATION
MM FEB UGM organizes admissions period for prospective students every semester in February and August intakes. The prospective students who have educational background in the Non- Economics Bachelor’s Degree Program are required to follow the Pre-MBA Program (Matriculation) for 1 semester and this program is part of the selection process before join the MBA Program. Whereas the prospective students who have an educational background in the Economics Bachelor’s Degree Program must follow the Basic Knowledge Test (TPD), and if they meet the passing score of TPD, they directly join the MBA Program. The prospective students who graduated as Cum Laude within 5 years from the Economics Bachelor’s Degree Study Program with A or Superior accredited will join directly to MBA Program as well.
» PRE-MBA PROGRAM (MATRICULATION)
Pre MBA is a special program aimed at refreshing and preparing prospective students before taking the MBA program. The Pre-MBA Program helps prospective students prepare themselves for the academic culture within MM FEB UGM and simultaneously aligns the business knowledge of students with diverse undergraduate backgrounds. The Pre-MBA Program held for 1 semester and consists of 4 courses namely Business and Management, Managerial Economics, Accounting and Finance, dan Statistics for Business Decisions with the total of 12 Credits (SKS). After completing the Pre-MBA program, the students will be given a Pre-MBA certificate which valid for 1 year from the beginning of the Pre-MBA Program. After getting the certificate, the student will join the MBA Program.
» MBA PROGRAM (Master of Business Administration)
MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus offers three choices of MBA Programs namely Regular MBA, Executive MBA, Senior Executive MBA, and International Executive MBA.
- MBA Program (Regular MBA)
- The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using Indonesian language.
- Have the opportunity to take part in the International Academic Exposure (IAE) and Student Exchange Program (SEP) according to applicable regulations.
- Lectures are held on Monday to Friday at 09.00 – 16.30 WIB (West Indonesian time).
- Prospective students preferably have at least 1 year of organizational/work/business experience, with a minimum English Language Test score of 475 and a minimum Academic Potential Test score of 500.
- The normal study period is 3 semesters with a maximum study period of 6 semesters.
- EMBA Program (Executive MBA)
- The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using English language.
- Required to take part in at least one of the international activities abroad, namely the International Academic Exposure (IAE), Student Exchange Program (SEP) and Dual Degree Program (DDP).
- Lectures are held on Monday to Friday at 07.00 – 16.00 WIB (West Indonesian time).
- Prospective students must have at least 1 year of organizational/work/business experience, with a minimum English Language Test score of 525 and a minimum Academic Potential Test score of 500.
- The normal study period is 3 semesters for IAE, 4 semesters for SEP and 5 semesters for DDP, with a maximum study period of 6 semesters.
- SEMBA Program (Senior Executive MBA)
- The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are using Indonesian language.
- Have the opportunity to take part in the International Academic Exposure (IAE) and Student Exchange Program (SEP) according to applicable regulations.
- Lectures are held on Friday at 19.00 – 22.00 and Saturday at 08.00 – 18.00 (West Indonesian time).
- Prospective students must have at least 3 years of organizational/work/business experience, with a minimum English Language Test score of 475 and a minimum Academic Potential Test score of 500.
- The normal study period is 4 semesters with a maximum study period of 6 semesters.
- IEMBA Program (International Executive MBA)
- The lecturing delivery, lecture materials, discussions, case assignments, examinations and thesis are in English.
- Required to take part in at least one of the international activities abroad, namely the International Academic Exposure (IAE), Student Exchange Program (SEP) and Dual Degree Program (DDP).
- Lectures are held on Friday at 19.00 – 22.00 and Saturday at 08.00 – 18.00 (West Indonesian time).
- Prospective students preferably have at least 1 year of organizational/work/business experience, with a minimum English Language Test score of 525 and a minimum Academic Potential Test score of 500.
- The normal study period is 4 semesters with a maximum study period of 6 semesters.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Have a Bachelor or equivalent (DIV) diploma.
- Have a transcript with cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) from the Bachelor or equivalent, as below:
- ≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who have graduated from an A/Superior accredited study program, or;
- ≥ 2.75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who have graduated from a B accredited study program, or;
- ≥ 3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who have graduated from a C accredited study program.
- Have an accreditation certificate from Bachelor degree or equivalent (DIV), with the requirements below:
- The accreditation of the study program is the current accreditation and proven by the scanned accreditation certificate or a print screen of accreditation from the current BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes website.
- The study program whose accreditation is in the process of being extended, send the receipt of submitted accreditation extension form from BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes. The Letter of Statement from the university concerned invalid.
- For overseas graduate applicants, the proof of accreditation is the Decree of the Equalization of Foreign Diploma from KEMENRISTEKDIKTI. If the accreditation document is invalid, it will not be processed further.
- Have a valid test score certificate for the Academic Potential Test and English Language Proficiency Test, with a maximum of 2 years from the date of issuance and from the institution recognized by UGM as follows:
- Have a valid UGM Postgraduate Academic Potential Test (PAPs) or PLTI Basic Academic Potential Test (TPDA) certificate with a minimum score of 500.
- Have a valid English Test certificate for MBA, EMBA and SEMBA Program as follow:
- TOEFL/TOEP PLTI minimum score 475
- IELTS minimum score 5.0
- IBT minimum score 53
- AcEPT UGM minimum score 243
- Have a valid English Test certificate for IEMBA Program as follow:
- TOEFL/TOEP PLTI minimum score 525
- IELTS minimum score 6.0
- IBT minimum score 70
- AcEPT UGM minimum score 307
- Preferably have organizational/business/work experience at least 1 year for MBA and IEMBA Program, must have business/work experience at least 1 year for EMBA Program, and at least 3 years for SEMBA Program.
- Have Health Insurance.

Tuition Fee (Non-Refundable):
- Pre-MBA students who have paid the matriculation fee but resigned, the matriculation fee is non-refundable
- From semester 1 onwards, resignations made after students paid the UKT fees according to the UGM schedule, the UKT fees paid are non-refundable.

Prospective students who are interested in studying at MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus have to follow 2-stage registration process, namely registration to MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, and online registration to the Universitas Gadjah Mada Admissions system (UM UGM).
» REGISTRATION TO MM FEB UGM JAKARTA CAMPUS
Prospective students who are interested in studying at MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus have to the registration process. Students register via http://ugm.id/formulirpendaftaranmaba and submit the registration requirements to the Admissions Office of MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus every Monday-Friday at 08.15-16.45 WIB and Saturday at 08.15-15.00 WIB. » REGISTRATION TO UGM ADMISSIONS SYSTEM
Prospective students register online to UGM Admissions (UM UGM) system which is managed by the Directorate of Education and Learning UGM (DPP UGM) according to the specified schedule. So, prospective students are asked to actively communicate with the Admissions Office of MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus and regularly check the website https://um.ugm.ac.id/ to find out the schedule for online registration at UM UGM.
SELECTION STAGE
Prospective students who are interested in studying at MM FEB UGM Jkarta Campus should follow 3 stages of selection, namely administrative selection, interview selection and selection via the UM UGM Admissions System.
- Administrative Selection
Prospective students are required to submit 3 test results, namely the English Language Test, Academic Potential Test, and Basic Knowledge Test (TPD)*.
*) If you were undergraduate alumni from Faculty of
Economics and Business).
*) During the pandemic, TPD is abolished.
To get proof of AcEPT/TOEP and PAPs/TPDA scores, prospective students can take the exam independently at the provider institution or by registering collectively to the Admissions Office of MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus via link ugm.id/MMYKtes and the fee is of IDR 350,000.00. MM UGM do the cooperation with the designated test provider institution to hold collective tests in each intake of registration.
The English Language Test Material and Academic Potential Test TPA & TBI) are tests that are required to measure a person’s English language skills in relation to the academic world and the participants’ abilities in general knowledge, logic and analysis.
While the Basic Potential Test (TPD) is only for prospective students with a Bachelor of Economics background who are not cum laude from the Faculty of Economics and Business accredited Superior or A. The Basic Potential Test (TPD) is held by MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus to evaluate participants’ basic knowledge and abilities regarding management, business, economics, mathematics and statistics. Basic Potential Test (TPD) materials consist of:
- Business and Management: 40 questions (45 minutes)
- Managerial Economics: 40 questions (45 minutes)
- Statistics for Business Decision: 30 questions (45 minutes)
- Accounting and Finance: 30 questions (45 minutes)
Prospective students who do not take the TPD or do not pass the TPD minimum score must enter the Pre-MBA or Matriculation Program for 1 semester.
- Interview Selection
Prospective students who have passed the administrative selection or meet the minimum TPA and TBI scores will be invited for an interview test. Interviewers from MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus explore the potential of prospective students from the aspects of leadership potential, commitment to the learning process, communication skills in Indonesian and English, academic competence and capability, personality and learning motivation, and career development potential.
- UM UGM System Selection
Prospective students who have passed the interview selection are required to register online to the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UM UGM) Admissions system which is managed by the Directorate of Education and Learning UGM (DPP UGM) according to the specified schedule. Prospective students routinely check the website https://um.ugm.ac.id/ to find out the online registration schedule for UM UGM, and to smoother the process, prospective students are asked to actively communicate with the Admissions Office of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus.

For prospective students, do the online registration procedure to UM UGM system (by firstly informing or consulting the Admissions Office of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus) as follows:

- If prospective students do not have any UGM account yet, please create an account first
- After LOGIN, prospective students select PROGRAM MAGISTER (S2) Matrikulasi
- Then click daftar sekarang and click buat pendaftaran baru
- Choose a study program, for Program Studi MM FEB UGM Jakarta Campus please choose MAGISTER MANAJEMEN o Rp.750.000 then click simpan
- Fill in the data, fill in the data correctly, make sure it is written with the same name as in the Bachelor diploma.
- Document upload
- Prepare scanned documents to upload with a maximum size of 800KB in PDF format and photographs in JPEG format.
- Use the applications that are available on the internet to help resizing the documents/files or convert images into *.pdf format or combine multiple *.pdf files.
- Please notice that UGM Admissions committee only verifies documents that comply with the provisions and uploaded in the right place. If it is not verified, the prospective students should re-register from the beginning and pay the registration fee again, then do online registration again while it is still open.

- Recommendation
Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students at the undergraduate level, namely Academic Advisory Lecturers and/or other people who are considered competent, such as the prospective student’s workplace supervisor. Recommendations are made when registering online, prospective students only write the name and email address of the referees then click send. The link for filling out the recommendation will be sent to the referee’s email addresses, and the prospective students simply need to remind the referees. Make sure the referee’s email address is a valid and active email address.
- Data Locked
Before locking the data, please check again and make sure that all uploaded documents are in accordance with the provisions and input in the right place (documents must be clearly read).
- Registration payment
After data locked, click registration payment, and a PAYMENT CODE will appear. Immediately make a payment of IDR 750,000 according to the procedure and please pay attention to the payment deadline to avoid late payment.
All administration fees for admissions test that have been paid/transferred by prospective students to MM FEB UGM cannot be withdrawn if they cancel their participation.
SELECTION RESULT
Prospective students who have passed the entire selection process will receive an official Acceptance Letter from UGM and the MM FEB UGM Study Program will be given the status as follows:
- Fully Accepted to the Pre-MBA Program (Regular Pre MBA, International Pre MBA and Senior Executive Pre MBA)
- Conditionally Accepted to the Pre-MBA Program (Regular Pre MBA, International Pre MBA and Senior Executive Pre MBA) if you pass the interview test but there is one TPA or TBI score that does not meet the requirement
- Fully Accepted to Semester 1 (Regular MBA, International MBA, Senior Executive MBA) if you pass the interview test, have met all TPA and TBI scores, and have passed Pre MBA or Passed Without Pre MBA
- Rejected.
