Orientation was a compulsory session for new students before entering the lecturing sessions. It introduced academic and non-academic issues of Master in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. On the even semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year, there were 162 students from Regular/International and Executive Class attended the event.
The orientation was held on February 2, 2018 at 1.30 PM in Faculty Meeting Room of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta. After leading the ceremonial singing of Indonesia Raya and Hymne Gadjah Mada, Dr. Hani Handoko, M.B.A. as the Director of MM FEB UGM introduced the Board of Directors and explained mission, vision, learning goals, shared values, curriculum development, learning ethics and processes.
Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D. as the Deputy Director of Academic Affair continued the session by mentioning the academic and non-academic rules such as courses and their credits, concentrations offered, study period policy, and student clubs. He added the procedures of tuition fee payment and some campus facilities which could be utilized during their study for example classrooms, discussion rooms, library, student lounge, canteen, praying room, and so on.
