The Master of Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing the best services for students. During the Final Examination (UAS) period, the program provided free morning snacks for all students attending their exams.
The morning snacks were made available every day throughout the examination period. A variety of light meals and beverages were served. This initiative was warmly welcomed by students, particularly those scheduled for early morning exams who often face limited time to have breakfast before heading to campus.
Students who received this facility expressed positive responses. Faza Azzahra, a Pre-MBA student from Cohort 87, shared that the morning snacks were very helpful for students who need to rush to campus.
“The provision of morning snacks really helps us, because in the morning we are often in a hurry, stuck in traffic, and sometimes don’t have time to eat breakfast. With the morning snacks available, we can eat beforehand and focus better during the exam,” she said.
Similarly, Anindya Widya, also a Pre-MBA student from Cohort 87, expressed satisfaction with the facility provided.
“I’m quite satisfied because the snack menu is different almost every day. The variety keeps it interesting and makes us feel well cared for,” she said.
Rocky Adiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta, explained that the initiative aims to help students maintain their energy during the exams.
“Students seem enthusiastic, but we don’t want a lack of food intake to affect their performance during the exams. Therefore, MBA FEB UGM provides a mood booster program in the form of snacks placed in front of the classrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, which are used for exams each day during the UAS period,” he said.
Small yet meaningful initiatives like this show that MBA FEB UGM focuses not only on academic excellence but also on the overall comfort and learning experience of its students. The support is expected to provide positive energy for all students as they go through the series of final examinations.
