Listyorini Dian Pratiwi with 3.93 GPA topped her colleagues on becoming the best graduate for the period of July 2018. She was a student of Executive B 32 who finished her study in 21 months at Master in Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM) Jakarta.
“Nowadays, Indonesian working age is on the top of ASEAN countries and on the top three of Asia region. Indonesia is the only G-20 member to have the highest GDP in ASEAN which amount is as much as 3 countries in total; Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. In addition, based on the World Bank data, Indonesia has went up 19 position to rank 72 in its increase of EODB (Ease of Doing Business) in 2018. It means Indonesia has been contributing a lot for the world economy,” said Listyorini in front of her 153 fellow graduates.
An open air garden ceremony was presented in the evening. Java Band and MMSA Band as well as various traditional and modern food and beverages were other elements which made the event worth to enjoy. The Dean of FEB UGM, Dr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., the Head for Department of Management FEB UGM, Dr. C. Budi Santoso, M.Bus., the Secretary for Department of Management, Dr. Reni Rosari, M.B.A., Board of Directors and Lecturers of MM FEB UGM joined the celebration.
The event held on July 18, 2018 was continued with a speech from the representative of Alumni aka Kafegama MM, Sigit Budi Darmawan, an alumnae of Executive B Batch 24 Jakarta who was the Commissionaire of Mussy.co and the Chairman of Networking and Alumni Promotion for Kafegama MM. He recalled his journey after graduating from MM FEB UGM which benefited him in working in a multinational company with a slight different better salary and compensation than before.
“Being a professional in a multinational company, we need to be able work in a diverse environment, adaptable to change, well-performed, and ethic-minded,” said Sigit.
