The collaboration and creativity of MMSA as the parent-student organization with the Art and Entertainment Centrum (AEC) Club MM FEB UGM is extraordinary. During the pandemic, students are still trying to provide entertainment for those whom #stay at home through the Virtufest Artnight 2021 activity which is held live via youtube (25/06/2021). After going through strict health protocols, and still implementing 3M to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Virtufest Artnight 2021 event was held in collaboration with R.A.P. Studio located in Bantul.
Artnight itself is the culmination of the event that closes the entire series of student activities that have been held during Virtufest 2021. This activity also provides an opportunity for the entire MM FEB UGM academic community to show their artistic talents and also aims to give appreciation to the entire student community achievements through the MM Awards. The home band consisting of MM FEB UGM students from Batch 78, 77 and 76 accompanied Artnight Virtufest 2021 with slick appearance and beautiful voice which grab the attention of the viewers. The event, which was delivered by the MC from the students, was opened by opening remarks from Bayu Sutikno, Ph.D. as Secretary of the MM FEB UGM.
The event continued with the awarding of MM Awards for the favorite students from the Pre-MBA 78, IMBA 77, and 76 batches then followed by EMBA 36 which were read by CEO of CNC Club, Marketing Club, Hustler Club, Leaders Mags and AEC Club.
The Virtufest Artnight 2021 event reached its top show by the Zapin Dance which was specially prepared by the Dance Division of AEC Club 6.0. Closing the MM Awards, the final nominations were announced, namely the Favorite Staff and Lecturer, which were read by MMSA official and and the Chair of Virtufest this semester.
The whole series of events was closed with a lively performance by a combination of talents singers in each batch with Glenn Fredly’s song You’re My Everything. (Humas; Dwi/Photo; Irvan/Translator; Sheila).
