Welcoming 2021/2022 Even Semester, the MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus held a casual talk with the MM FEB UGM Board of Directors (BOD), which aims to build friendships and socialize all students for the Even Semester 2021/2022 lectures. Around 541 students attended the Zoom meeting on Friday night (04/02/2022).
To begin this session, the Director of the MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., in his speech, said, “We are enthusiastic to welcome all friends who will start the learning process this semester”. Amin continued, “At the end of last semester, we are very optimistic that this semester we can implement lectures with more meetings on campus. However, the increasing pandemic conditions make us hit the brakes again. Of course, all of my friends want to go to college immediately to create a conducive academic climate for learning.” “Once again on behalf of BOD, we welcome the enthusiasm of learning this semester, and congratulations on the process,” added Amin.
The session continued with the presentation of socialization materials delivered by Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, Yogyakarta Campus. Rocky explained the preparation of hybrid learning for the even semester of 2021/2022. The information includes updated surveys of health conditions, mixed learning processes, preparation of campus facilities, provisions for students to study on campus during a pandemic, and various online academic services.
This talk session was closed with a question and answer session with students who were very enthusiastic asking about the technicalities of hybrid learning systems, choosing areas of concentration, and academic discussions experienced by students during learning. (Humas: Radiani/Photo: Irvan).
