Yogyakarta, 11 August 2023 – Another brilliant achievement was achieved by a team of students from MBA FEB UGM who succeeded in winning the 2023 Project Management Challenge (PMC) Competition, an achievement that brought honor to this leading alma mater. Talented participants from various well-known institutions in Indonesia attended the competition. Apart from Gadjah Mada University, other institutions such as the Bogor Agricultural Institute, University of Indonesia, Sepuluh November Institute of Technology, Airlangga University, Indonesian Islamic University, and STIKI Malang also participated in this prestigious competition.
By carrying the theme “Smart City” in a series of project management challenges, PMC 2023 focuses on innovative city development, which focuses on applying technology and innovation to improve people’s quality of life. This event lasts three days, from 12 to 14 July 2023. The location of this competition is at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology Surabaya Campus, which is a magnificent stage for competitions of intelligence and management strategy.
The MBA FEB UGM Student Team who won this competition, namely Arif Budi Sasongko, Vitarie Yuskazia, Fazarani Hasna L, and Oktavian Pratamaputra A, are talented students from MBA-80 Class Yogyakarta Campus. The success achieved by this team is not only a personal achievement but also the culmination of collaboration and high dedication from each team member in facing complex challenges in project management.
The MBA FEB UGM Student Team presented innovative and strategic solutions for designing intelligent cities during the competition. The comprehensive approach adopted by this team, supported by a deep understanding of project management principles, the latest technology, and sensitivity to community aspirations, has proven that they are the best in the Project Management Challenge 2023 arena.
