The MBA FEB UGM Badminton Club successfully held the MBA Badminton Championship (MBC) Vol. 7 on November 15 & 22, 2025, at the Leadership Hall MBA FEB UGM. With the theme “Fuel the Fire, Share the Victory,” this tournament served as a competitive arena as well as a space to strengthen relationships and the spirit of collaboration among the UGM academic community.
This event not only featured matches in various categories, but also provided an opportunity for students to develop sportsmanship, fighting spirit, and social skills across faculties and educational levels. “MBC Vol. 7 is not just a competition, but a space to ignite passion, sportsmanship, and togetherness,” said Catur Erwin Tryanto, Chair of the MBC Vol. 7 Committee.
This activity also received appreciation from the study program as a form of non-academic learning that supports student character development. “Events like this expand networks and add to learning experiences outside the classroom,” said Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Chair of the MBA FEB UGM Study Program in his speech.
With the enthusiasm of participants and full support from various parties, MBC Vol. 7 is expected to continue as a regular competition agenda that positively impacts UGM students, both in terms of achievements and relationships.
