The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), successfully hosted a Fun Run event on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the MBA FEB UGM Plaza. The event attracted faculty members, professional staff, and MBA students, making it a vibrant part of the ongoing MBA Fest 9.0.
The event kicked off with the arrival of participants and organizers, followed by a smooth registration process. The official opening ceremony commenced with the Master of Ceremony leading the audience to sing the Indonesian national anthem, “Indonesia Raya.”
Nafisya, the Chairperson of Fun Run 1.0, delivered a warm welcome speech, which was followed by an official symbolic opening by Rocky Adiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D. Both expressed their gratitude for the enthusiastic participation from the entire academic community, emphasizing the spirit of togetherness that the event fosters.
Before the run began, participants received a brief explanation of the route and safety rules, followed by a guided warm-up session led by a professional coach to ensure everyone was physically prepared. The energetic warm-up was met with enthusiasm, setting the tone for the main event.
The Fun Run covered a well-planned route around the campus area, allowing participants to enjoy a lively and engaging running experience. After completing the course, participants were rewarded with medals, and the much-anticipated door prize draw took place, adding excitement to the event. The program concluded with the “Ecocultura” event, wrapping up the day’s festivities on a high note.
The event was filled with camaraderie, bringing together the academic community in a shared pursuit of health, fitness, and unity, all while celebrating the vibrant spirit of MBA FEB UGM.
