The Master of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), held a guest lecture titled Change Management: Practical Experience on May 21 and 22, 2026. The guest lecture featured Gemini Aryanto, M.Si., GPHR, Group Chief People & Culture Officer, as the speaker. In his presentation, Gemini explained that change is inevitable in organizations. Therefore, organizations need to adopt a structured approach to managing change so that the transition process can proceed effectively, reduce resistance, and help individuals and teams adapt to new conditions.
Gemini also emphasized that the success of organizational change depends greatly on individual readiness and stakeholder management. Students were invited to understand various emotional responses during the transition process, ranging from denial, anger, and anxiety to acceptance. In addition, participants were introduced to the importance of communication, empathy, and stakeholder engagement in supporting the success of organizational transformation.
Through this activity, MBA FEB UGM seeks to equip students with practical insights into change management, preparing them to face the dynamics of the business and organizational world.
