For the last three years, Master in Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Cenderawasih (MM FEB UNCEN) had been cooperating with MM FEB UGM to conduct short course program. The short course was held for the 5th batch signed with an opening ceremony on November 5, 2018.
Speeches from Dr. T. Hani Handoko, M.B.A. as the Director of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta and Dr. Ferdinand Risamasu, M.Sc., Agr. as the Director of MM FEB UNCEN officially marked the opening of the short course. Hani Handoko welcomed 26 students of MM FEB UNCEN who joined the short course Batch V. Remarking that developing leadership in Indonesia widely was one of MM FEB UGM missions, Hani considered the short course as one of the application. By completing the short course, it was expected that the participants would be a good leader in improving Papua. To cope up with the tight and demanding competition, future leaders with competent characters and much potential would be the answer. Hani Handoko believed the participants would be able to took the knowledge in the short course and make use of the facilities in MM FEB UGM well.
On the other hand, Ferdinand Risamasu expressed his gratitude for the good cooperation between MM FEB UNCEN and MM FEB UGM. He targeted his students who were mostly writing their thesis would take the opportunity to study in the short course at its finest.
Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D., Prof. Djamaludin Ancok, M.A., Ph.D., and Dr. Ruben Tuhumena, M.Si. attended the opening ceremony as well and took part in group photos after Hani Handoko and Ferdinand Risamasu exchanged souvenirs.
The participants were scheduled to have lecturing sessions with Prof. Djamaludin Ancok, M.A., Ph.D., Prof. Basu Swastha Dharmmesta, M.B.A., Ph.D., Wakhid Slamet Ciptono, M.P.M Ph.D., Bowo Setiyono, M.Com., Ph.D. and Gugup Kismono, Ph.D.
